Congratulations to my good friend and client, Suzanne Bowen, whose new fitness DVD Gorgeous Core is released today! I always love working with Suzanne, because she lets me do whatever I want (and honestly as a designer, you can’t ask for more than that). Gorgeous Core ($18.99) is available for purchase online, or you can pick it up at her Nashville flagship fitness studio in D1 Medical Center, Seren Motus.
It’s an exciting day today for Imogene + Willie (whom I worked with earlier in the summer to create a Denim Washing Instructions piece for their web site) — today marks the launch of their limited edition collection at the New York City J.Crew store (1040 Madison Avenue, corner of 79th and Madison).
Give the Madison Avenue store a call for purchase information (212) 453-2677. Limited quantities online, see below.
In honor of the semester officially commencing at O’More College of Design (where I occasionally teach), I’ve posted my syllabus and grade rubric for my newest course, Information Design, a class especially designed to celebrate sheer nerdy-ness.
That Presentrix logo that I posted a few days ago was designed as a brand for a series of “How To” presentation guides for Scott Schwertly, CEO of the presentation firm Ethos3.
Presentation expert and CEO of the presentation firm Ethos3, Scott Schwertly, asked me to design a series of “How To” guides on presentation tricks, and he landed on the name “Presentrix” as a brand name for the series. Here are a few of the logo concepts; the bottom logo was chosen in the end.
